Besidilo
Character Creation OverhaulCharacter Creation Overhaul finally brings back birthsigns, classes, specializations, favored attributes, and major/minor skills to Skyrim. No more boring cookie-cutter characters--Choice matters again! Whereas vanilla Skyrim only provided you with 10 options for starting characters (excluding customizing their appearance), Character Creation Overhaul allows for 229,320 unique character combinations! Best of all, CCO is built for maximum compatibility with other mods (i.e. Skyrim Redone, ACE Comprehensive Enhancements, Alternate Start - Live Another Life) and works with new characters and existing characters alike.A must-have for those who like to role-play. Spiffyman
Did this not have a thread already? Wow... I figured it was awesome enough that someone would have posted about it much sooner. :P It's definitely on my list to use next install.
frihyland
The idea is awesome and the potential is huge, but much like other overhauls the likelihood it goes off track is great also. I wish him well and am keeping tabs on this.
Kelmych
The approach given in the mod description seems to have kept the best parts of the Oblivion character system and, thankfully, eliminated the strange way that major and minor skills were used (major skills affected level progression while a mix of minor and major skills affected abilities). How useful it for existing characters or is it primarily useful when starting new characters?
