Mods for non-Vanilla Weapons

So I've been replaying FO3 with about 2/3 of the mods listed in C&PD (mostly the gameplay/new quests/new items type stuff), and I've been enjoying the 20th Century Weapons that were added, but kind of disappointed that I can't add mods to them. Then I happened to re-read the description for "20th Century Wpns -Plus- Reborn for FWE..." on Nexus and saw a giant list of those weapons that were supposed to be moddable because of it... which is weird, because I have it installed, and can't mod anything other than the vanilla stuff. I've since been wracking my brain trying to figure out why that is. As far as I know, I've got everything installed related to WMK and 20th Century Weapons, but still no luck.

 

There are also quite a few weapons on the list of moddable ones added with 20th Plus Reborn that I've just never seen anywhere in game. I wonder if this is related.

 

Incidentally, I've got a few weapons that appear every now and then in game that are missing their models as well (show up as giant red diamond floating around)... the Remington 700 is the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

 

So yeah, just wondering if anyone's had similar issues and might know how to fix it... or if these issues are just known and affect everyone running this combination of mods?

 

EDIT: I have done some more testing regarding non-vanilla weapon modding. I think the issue is different mods are spawning different versions of weapons that have the same name. Ex: M1 Garand, Colt 1911 and SVD Dragunov are on the list of Reborn for FWE moddable weapons, but I can't mod them. Meanwhile, I can mod the FN FAL, M-14 and Desert Eagle that I have. I've never seen the game spawn different versions of those first three, so who knows if the moddable ones will ever show up.
