can't play without the compass completely unfortunately. Some of the quest descriptions even if you use WilliamIm's mod just don't hack it, and I also have the "completionist" but where I have to visit every think in skyrim, and a compass helps with that too. The paper map is a huge boon for immersion though. Just wish something could be done to make it flat :/

I also use Clairvoyance for the quests that have not enough description.

Would it be possible to use only the map texture from this and nothing else?

Opened this mod's esps in TES5Edit. Here's my findings: In texture2.esp: * It seems to need cleaning. Warburg, can you confirm that? * In Worldspace -> 00035699 -> 000356AB Cell -> XLCN Location: Seems to not carry over Unofficial Skyrim Patch's fix. Also, there where some conflicts in texture2.esp Location and Worldspace, against Dawnguard and Hearthfire DLCs. Since I don't know what those do, I'm assuming it's ok.

Anyone getting this bug where you when you go into the map you are zoomed in very close to the map and you can't zoom out to the level its intended and map markers are all over the place. Its so annoying, is there any way to fix this.

Just make sure to have its esp's dead last and I think you should be fine.

BOSS is 99% right in these cases, but not in this particular one, I did check with mod author on Nexus specifically :)

I saw where someone had asked but the author just said "it's fine" if I recall, which just came across as dismissive I thought. Having cleaned it, functions perfectly fine as long as load order is correct. I'll post if that changes, heh.

Thank you. I really like this map but I hate that it disables SkyUI's search function. Is there some kind of fix or workaround for this? using texture 2

Neo has also said (IIRC) that it interferes with a color (yellow?) in the game. If it weren't for these issues it's a much more immersive map. The 3D map looks cool, but there's something about following the hero's adventures on a paper (looking) map - maybe it reminds me if pouring over Tolkein's naps when reading Lord of the Rings in ages gone by.
