Step Skyrim LE Patches

RWT might be causing this part of this. Seems it should have a LOOT rule to load after Relighting Skyrim.

After making a LOOT metadata rule for RealisticWaterTextures.esp, and re-running LOOT, it helped a bit. However there is still a lot of orange. Also note that after doing this, RelightingSkyrim_Legendary.esp and ELE_Legendary_Lite.esp moved far away from each other in the load order. I do not have the metadata rule set for global priority, as there is no mention of it in the STEP guide.

With patches it shouldn't really matter what color they are because the records are merged. Commutative Law of Addition: a+b = b+a. Order doesn't matter in that instance. What matters is that the STEP Patch loads after everything else and before the Bashed Patch and SkyProc stuff. Any records in the STEP Patch are the correct records being loaded, so the order of the masters is pretty much irrelevant.

EDIT: Commutative not Cumulative. I'm a little tipsy right now.

I guess I should also say that my last few mods are RS, RWT, AOS, RWT_Legendary, ELE, STEP Patch.

My complete load order:

If you have rules in place that aren't in the Guide then you need to add them to the mod pages, Ess, and to the end of the Guide...at least until LOOT gets the submitted rules added. That's kind of an important oversight that needs to be corrected. I've added the LOOT rule for RWT and it seemed to have helped resolve some of those issues I sent to you. If I had them, all users have them because I completely redid the my setup this round.

Forcing the "Smaller Cursor" style upon the STEP user is more a selective choice per-user than a necessary change. This and "HiRes Legible Road Signs" are two I will be dropping. The cursor though is not that important to force on people imo.

We don't support anything but a full STEP installation out we'd be doing endless troubleshooting and support for users. If you don't like the mods included, simply remove the assets from the compilation. Right now the compilation only contains loose files so it will not effect your game to do so.

Everything is subjective and nothing is 'forced'. We show you how to mod Skyrim to our liking, so use that info to mod to your liking.

Step Extended Patch.esp is listing "ELE_Legendary_Lite.esp" as a master, even though I selected "STEP:Extended Patch - No ELE" in the installer.  Are there some accidental records included, or is the esp just being generated with a bad master file list?

I just checked and that plugin doesn't have ELE as a master. I also checked the installer to ensure the correct file was being installed. So either you accidentally picked the wrong option or there is a fluke. Be sure you're using the internal installer (you shouldn't see any messages/windows about "external installer" pop up).
