STEP v2.2.9.2 Official Bug Reports

As I mentioned in my bug post; I don't think the actual dialogue is getting cut short, just the voice over sound clip that is being prematurely terminated. The subtitles for the text remain visible for the normal amount of time. 2.2.9.2 seems to have a number of audio issues, this included.

The NPCs also mute for a second if you move while they are talking.

No Better Bards. I'll be running various tests to see if I can find the issue, because I don't like the "feature."

Check Enhanced Camera. That thing adds all kinds of crap it probably shouldn't. I personally disable that mod for my playing.

Specifically referring to all the FOV and near distance settings it's changing.

They are needed, otherwise certain animations get clipped close to the camera.

I've built myself a new pc, and I've been playing a slightly modified STEP Extended install, and noticeably the dialogue is getting clipped like the NPC is getting interrupted and not finishing their sentence. I'll do some testing to see if this is a problem or just something I haven't noticed hitherto.

I remember having this issue.  I haven't played the game in maybe 6 months, so I'm not sure if I ever actually resolved the problem or if it comes and goes or what.  I forget, sorry... but it was an issue that I had as well.

That's basically the mod recreated from the ground up by another user and it is in STEP.
