Nightingale Pride - Bow and Blade Reincarnation

As the title says people, it is a simple re-texture of Nightingale arsenal : Bow and Blade. There are 3 choices of texture : LOW,MED and HIGH (1024, 2048 and 4096 respectively)

I personally have used this for days and i say that i really liked how to the mod promises.

I haven't compared to Nightingale Pride though

Thanks for the reminder. I had intended to install and try this mod when it was mentioned because I prefer using the Nightingale Bow after I acquire it from Karliah, but I let it slip through the cracks. I'm downloading and installing it right now.

The vanilla blade is difficult to capture because it is actually darker, so it's difficult to see even in good light.

The bow doesn't impress me much, actually. Portions look OK, but the metal scrollwork on the Pride looks like it's painted on vice inlaid, and looks just plain sloppy. *shrug* The blade doesn't really seem to have too much in the way of difference that I can tell in the shot, but that may be because of the lighting, as you mentioned. My two cents.

I actually had this in my game and ended up removing it. The bow has a really high and also very even spectacularity on the texture which makes it look very plastically rather then metallic and the wood looks out of place as it looks very overly glossy, and the additional texture detail in the metal parts doesn't come across well during normal gameplay (my term for what you notice with textures when actually playing, rather then when you're looking for issues) as it looks out of place and doesn't make it read very much like its actually metal any more. Due to the fact that the gem parts on the inside of the bow are also only a texture, they come across more as a sticker or decal rather then an actual gem and that looked really out of place to me.

The blade texture I found much better and higher quality, but I personally would not recommend the bow for STEP at least.
